A note from the CEO, Alexander Zheltov
In 2011, I formed an education agency with the hope of providing young people with a similar experience and opportunity. What I learned quickly was that only a fraction of those who wanted to study abroad could. What did that mean for the remainder of the students who were passionate about learning but could not go overseas? I began sponsoring classrooms in rural locations to provide an international experience locally.
But one classroom at a time was not going to have a significant impact. In 2019, during a conversation with a school partner, I realized that offering high quality education online would have the greatest reach and impact.
That vision became Flylane.
